Today’s topic is all about Flipping Cars in Mexico The Day After The US Election.
I am in Mexico right now. Let’s take a quick tour of my place over here. It’s a nice area. I wish it’s a little early so I can show you the view outside.
The US elections is finally over. Donald Trump is our President. It’s going to be interesting. These are my thoughts about the elections, no matter who gets elected, we can’t let it affect you. Those are the things that you can’t control. You just need to keep on focusing your own growth no matter who gets elected.
Question: I have $1500 and I want to flip a car.
I think that’s enough to get started, get into a deal and put money into a deal. You could absolutely turn $1500 into $2500 to $3000 is very feasible.
Question: What’s your take on flipping bikes?
I started with flipping bikes. If you’re a bike fanatic, then get into it. I just moved over to flipping cars because there’s a lot more car deals out there than bikes.
However, bikes and mopeds are a good way to start. I started with those when I was 13 years old.
Question: Do you recommend to stay in the $3000? Do expensive cars take longer to sell?
If you go over $7000 to $8000, it will definitely take longer to sell. But, you can sell cars quickly under $7000. People who are serious into getting a good car have that kind of money to buy a deal.
The sweet spot in flipping cars is $3000 to $6000 sale price, so I recommend you stick to that range.
Question: First sale took me 2 ½ weeks to sell. I got nervous.
No, that’s not too bad. If you’ve been trying to get rid of a car for two months, then you need to start lowering your price to get rid of it.
Question: Do you think I should sell my 2006 BMW and use the money to start flipping cars?
That’s a question you have to ask yourself. If you’re looking to make some money, then go ahead. That’s your decision.
Sorry if I’m not super pumped out right now like how I am usually. But, my wife is putting my baby to sleep right now. The place is quite small so I can’t be shouting.
I met someone in SEMA that owns a pretty cool website. It partnered with 4000 salvage yards and lists used parts to sell on the website.
You can basically search for a part and it will scour the closest salvage yard close to you that has that particular part. You can even order that part so they can ship it to you.
Question: Do you flip cars full time?
I don’t do this quite often anymore because I have other internet businesses as well. Flipping cars is a side thing for me, but my passion is really into teaching what I know.
Buying and selling cars has allowed me to invest in myself and invest in other businesses where I can profit and grow my money. It used to be my main thing, now it’s not my main source of income.
Flipping cars is an additional stream of income for me. The average millionaire has seven streams of income. This is what I always say, which I have learned as well.
Question: Can buy and sell cars at police auctions with no dealer license?
Absolutely. Police auctions are a great place, even public auto auctions. But, you need to know how to buy. If you don’t, you’ll be paying too much for a deal. You’ll be involved in bidding wars, your emotions get high and you’ll end up raising the bid prices.
You need to make money on a deal and not pay too much for a deal. Do not waste your time if you’re only making a couple hundred dollars. What’s the sense?
